Tampa Declined TSA Gold +

As of August 24th 2026 Tampa Airport officially declined the TSA Gold + program. This is a huge win for TSA and AFGE. The official statement from the TPA airport is linked bellow.

We are now focusing our efforts in helping the TSOs at Des Moines airport. Local 899 is working closely with District 8 to help in these efforts. More updates will be posted as we get them.
